Is that front sega palm hiding something? It's an odd placement for an extra flower bed. If it were mine, I'd scrap it. I vary up the landscaping in front of the house. Too much of the same tone of green. Local nurseries will usually come out for free and give recommendations for plants, hoping you'll buy from them. We've done that on two different houses and he rave results.

If you have a sprinkler system I wonder if it would be that difficult to tap into it for further down your lawn.
