Hi everyone! I am debating what color shutters to add to my living room. The floors will be dark wood. Kitchen behind the living area has dark cabinets and light counters with speckles. Furniture / rug is a combination of creme / burnt orange /dark brown with splashes of blue. I would love to have dark wood shutters, but people are recommending white to me?

Also, should I also get shutters for the bedroom (on a separate floor) even though it has carpet? Or is that personal preference?
