Fungicide question

Hello all, I installed zoysia sod about 3.5 weeks ago. Looks very good except got some brown spots. Could it be a fungus or the sod just under stress? It is rooted to the ground and after week two I've been watering an inch/week. Should I apply a fungicide? Is it ok to apply in August. I live in SC. Thanks.
