Little girls room help

So we start on our new (first) home tomorrow. Starting with painting my daughters rooms, ripping out that ugly carpet and using the original hard wood floors underneath. My youngest girls room will be painted a light lilac. We have purchased her a new bed and one thing for room decor so far. We will be reprinting our 6 drawer chest to put in the room. I'm needing design help. Where to put what, curtains, rug, and any other suggestions.

It is important to remember that your daughter will be growing in this space and her needs will change as she gets older!
Make sure that you keep enough open floor space for a larger bed once she is out of the toddler bed and remember that a lot of toys will vanish.
Something that is always important for children's room is a good desk for them to do schoolwork on. Dressers and wardrobes are also important, but remember that as she grows her clothes will get bigger too! Decals like the monkeys you showed are great because you can remove them easily when she out grows them.
