Help with choosing a Daikin Split system

We are looking to put in a Daikin split HVAC system as part
of our renovation. The contractor has provided us two spec options

Option 1

DAIKIN MXS Series Ductless Mini-Split Heat Pump Sys

18,000 BTU Outdoor Unit

24,000 BTU Outdoor Unit

2x 7000 BTU indoor Wall-Mounted Units

18,000 BTU Emura Indoor Wall-Mounted Unit

18,000 BTU Indoor Concealed-Duct Unit with 4 supply
registers and 1 return

Envi Wall-Mounted Thermostat for Concealed Duct Unit

3 Remote Controllers for Indoor Wall-Mounted Units

Option 2

DAIKIN MXS Series Ductless Mini-Split Heat Pump System

36,000 BTU Outdoor Unit

Two 7,000 BTU Indoor Wall-Mounted Units

18,000 BTU Emura Indoor Wall-Mounted Unit

15,000 BTU Indoor Concealed-Duct Unit with 3 supply
registers and 1 return

3 Remote Controllers for Indoor Wall-Mounted Units

Remote Control Unit for Concealed Ducted Unit

The price is fairly similar. Is there any benefit of choosing
one vs. the other? The BTU on option 1 seem higher but not sure if there is an
advantage to having just one external unit?

The system is for a mid-century modern house ~2900sqft.

Any advice on how we should think about evaluating the two
options. Also does this seem like a reasonable set up for a house this size?

Thanks
