Nice work, beautiful shaped trees, place the fruiting tree in direct sun and the new growth will not fall but grow stronger. By the way, has the tree from cutting ever been outdoors?

I do put the cutting outside during the day when it's sunny but this week has been full of wind and rain so it's been mostly on my window sil. The citrus I've grown from seed are outside until late sept/oct but when there is a lot of rain I put them undercover but still outside. I keep bringing the cutting in at night incase it's too cold it's around 12c /53f at it's it lowest at the moment.

Good strategy, Rosieanna :)) Instead of calling it a cutting, call it a tree, give it lots of sun and enjoy it ! You are well on you way, when it comes to potted fruit trees. All the best to you and whenever there's a problem with your trees that you can't solve, come to this place, everybody is right here, at your fingertips:)) That is how I learned lots of things about citrus from the knowledgeable ladies and gentlemen on this forum.
