With some research down it might be a andonidia palm? Any other thoughts?

Definitely Adonidia!!

look at the leaf tips, on a Kentia, they are pointed and on an Adonidia/Veitchia the are ruffled like that (as if they had been cut).

they are a bit more temperamental than Kentia in my opinion but usually less expensive.

I agree, an Adonidia merrillii. You have 3 plants there, a bit crowded. The Kentia (Howea sp) are more of a cooler grower, Adonidia likes it warmer with full sun.

Kentia is one of my top 5 favorite house palm recommendations for the average home; Adonidia, not so much, but I do like them.

I can't grow Kentia here (Howea sp. that is, there's a Northern Kentia, Hydriastele sp. that grows here) but Adonidia are fairly common in public areas. Not difficult to find seed and it germinates easily.

Tropic, why can't you grow Howea? Do you mean outdoors/indoors?

Adonidia for me seems to do fine and then go into an inexplicable decline eventually. Yet, I keep drying.

I don't grow plants indoors, I go away too often so not worth doing. But Howeas are not good in a hot climate, they come from a subtropical island where it doesn't get very hot. Higher latitude and cool humid sea breezes are not what they're going to get here. But Northern Kentia, Hydriastele ramsayi, are the opposite. They like blow-torch weather and thrive in it.
