Monica, I don't know much about pests but read a little about forbid. Its for mites, right? Why not use

it's for everthing. I grow my plants outside so I have to have a bottle handy. You grow inside but have a screened porch where you can place your plants when being treated. Use this as a prevetative....I also like one that I posted a pic of here on the forum. That one is organic and doesn't harm butterflies and bees but stinks really bad. Smells like fish :-/

Thanks Lydia. Forbid 4F is an insecticide/miticide (professional strength) that I happen to have. I've been trying not to spray chemicals and have been using those yellow/blue sticky cards. Unfortunately, they don't do anything for mites which I think is the cause of my issue with some of my Hoyas.

I could just cry over this! Some of my newer gorgeous hoyas from Susan now are showing some signs of those yellow spots. Ugh! I guess I'll just have to be diligent with water misting daily and weekly treatments for the next few weeks.

You sure you have pests? I don't see pest damage.

The above plants are showing different degrees of chlorosis and stippling. Also, the leaves are appearing somewhat dehydrated:-(

Those are the big signs. I also detected microscopic kinda white things on the undersides. I saw them with a 60x loop.
