Granite cracking

Has anyone had an issue with granite counters cracking? Our sink area is not flush with the rest of the cabinets, it juts out about 3 inches. We have Typhoon Bordeaux granite and it has cracked on both sides of the sink. The granite people have been out several times to fill the crack bit it doesn't last. It will be impossible to replace this section since ot has been 6 years that we had the kitchen remodeled so the granite will be off and would be quite expensive to replace it all. Any suggestions?

It only cracks when the cabinets below are not level and plumb, and providing the proper support. With proper support, granite does not crack. Unless it was rodded with steel for additional support, and that support rod has since rusted and expanded. Look underneath and see if you see a rusty steel rod. Or gaps between the counter and cabinets. It's one or the other.
