My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Window above entry door

Some time ago I was asking about ideas how to decorate a shelf above entry door. i really did not like the carpet on it. I got some good advice and these are the pictures how it turned out. Thanks! ( I cannot find my old post to thank personally ) The decor came from Pier 1, it cost about $200, but I like how it looks now.

    oh, yes. carpet was the first thing to go. I also scraped off the pop corn ceiling. can't tell form the picture, but I have flat ceiling now.

      This looks great! Love the decorations you added on the shelf and the new paint color is much better! I also like that you painted both above and below the shelf the same color now.

      Did you remove the carpet? Can't tell by the angle of the after picture. It looks great!! The crown molding, and trim on the ledge you added looks great, and the space looks so much more sophisticated now..
