Carnosa Krinkle 8 that my mother grew in the 70s.

There was a dry cleaner next door to the local movie theater--they had 3 huge baskets of carnosa hanging in the window and every Spring they would be covered with flower clusters....my friends had to drag me into the movie theater because I had my nose pressed to that window looking at the beautiful blooms....

Mine were pubicalyx red buttons and kerrii.

It was getting a free one and then finding this forum to learn about them :)

Every once in awhile I find some at Flowerland in GR. I got a beautiful Hoya curtisii recently at Walmart. Most of the ones I see in stores are ones I already have. Do you have lots?

No,A 50 plus year old plant that someone was throwing out ,Krimson Princess from Lowes and a small Wayetii from Flowerland. I did just see yesturday at the Meijer by my house had a Ds-70 and 2 Compactas 1 variegated and 1 plain one.

I am going on the hunt tomorrow at a few places to see what there is.

As I was growing up my father had one and I used to think it was weird but also intriguing. Later while wandering around the bush I began finding them in their natural habitat and recognised them. But it wasn't until much later I visited David Liddle and saw his collection that I decided to try growing them in earnest.
