Hosta ID

This hosta was here when we bought our home and I have been unable to identify it. I believe it was planted in 1989 at the time when the house was built. I compared it to Blue Jay and Fragrant Blue which were suggested previously. They are much wider than this compact mound. This receives 2-3 hours of afternoon sun. 26" wide and 11" tall. Leaves stay waxy throught the season.

I am in zone 6B any input would be appreciated.

It looks to be in bloom, a picture of the inflorescence would be helpful.

a scale in the pic of the leaf would also help ...

frankly ... though we will have fun trying ... i doubt you will name a 25+ plus year old blue hosta ... wonder if i said this in the prior post ...

its weird its blooming in august .. go figure ...

I don't seem to be able to upload more pictures. As soon as I select a photo everything is gone. I do have many hostas just starting to send up scapes. I am in Southwestern Ontario.

Also older leaves are approx, 5 1/2 by 3 1/2".
