I can't get over TX real estate prices - that's a whole lotta house for that price!! And what is that huge long room with the ramp that goes up one side? I would need to do a lot of updating and no doubt several of the bedrooms would be combined into a single larger one, as they seem tiny. That would help the bed to bath ratio :-) Or include an en suite as part of the reformatted bedrooms.

If not for that tiny kitchen, I can totally see it as a group home if some type.

Currently a rooming house. Seven rooms rented out on a month-to-month basis, as per the listing.

Jewelisfabulous, actually my Dad (when he was 100 yrs old) lived in a over 55 home (he had an small apt inside the huge building) and 3 meals a day were provided - I 'suspect' a lot of the food was from Sysco (a restaurant/food service provider). The cooks simply had to 'heat' the food. I don't think ALL the meals were 'pre-made', but I am certain a lot of the food items were 'already prepared'.

A lovely property! Renters would pay for the mortgage/ business loan, plus extra income........ it should go really really fast.

Access ramp, commercial exit signs, sprinkler system, fire extinguisher, and single bed bedrooms. That says group home of some sort. I doubt for the elderly given that no grab bars are evident in the baths.

Utterly shocking and horrific. It should be 13 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms.

Lol, rental properties are not for everyone. It's a great business opportunity, don't you think? 7 rooms already rented out. That house is a money making house, it has some magic, good fengshui there. :-)

It's an assisted living facility called Shady Oaks Retreat. A simple Google...

That's 3 or 4 times the normal rent income. Around here is about $2500 per room, per month.
