I think something like this crib and dresser would be amazing with the wood plank wall and your bedding!

ok I would match the neutral tone in the bedding and go one shade darker..you can always do a accent wall behind the crib with the darker neutral tone and lighter on the side walls...is that neutral more gray or tan? Hard to tell in the photo.

Pick something to base your colors around -- bedding might work, although you barely even use it for the first few years, and then suddenly they're in a different bed. Better might be a rug you like or some pictures you intend to hang. Then take a color (blue, tan, gray, light green) from that for the walls. (and nobody cares if your bathroom is the same or a similar color)
