Would you say Designer Genes can take afternoon sun?

Not sure, mine gets morning and dappled mid day sun. The leaves don’t brown under these conditions. Give it a try, you can always move it if you need to.

Can I correct a nomenclature thing? If you say "Designer Genes seedling," it means you grew a seed from Designer Genes and this is that plant, which might resemble DG but not be equivalent to it. If you mean you started with a young (presumably TC-produced) plant/clone of Designer Genes, then that is a "starter" or "liner."
