Durability for Exteriot Use

Hi! First, BEAUTIFUL piece of art, I love it! I have a round window above my two story entry which lets light in above the front door at the 2nd story level. I would absolutely love to have a stained glass window their instead. Is this particular piece something which could withstand the elements , or would you affix it with a piece of transparent single-paned glass on the outside facing the exterior wall? Thank you! (Also, if this is something other home-owners do with these round windows, I would love to know the method of installation that works best.) Very sincerely, Jaime V.

Thanks so much, Jaime, for your interest in my work. Since this piece was crafted using copper foil and not leaded and puttied, it needs to be used in the interior of your home where it will not be subjected to the elements. Or, since it sounds like you might be building your home, you could check with your contractor about having it insulated so it can be the exterior window.--Pat
