Photo 1 is a bit too trendy (or out of style center piece) of the 3. I'd stick to a classic subway.

Also be aware that glass tile is more difficult to cut (more labor = higher cost).

As far as shade, the lightest color is the most pleasing to my eye. Don't darken your kitchen.

In the second photo I like the one all the way to the left. I like all options in the last photo.

I believe the tiles in picture 2 also come in subway.

These two are both nice as I mentioned. Both a favorite of mine personally. The gray appears light enough and seems to match well, but again the light is on. The other is equally nice.... love them both, but need to see the lights off. I'm not personally a fan of glass for the most part.....

The photo taken with the cupboard door with the subway tiles in different colors: most of them seem to lean too.... .....cool perhaps? The gray tones on that board are too dark as well and will steal the show from your counters.

The very top photo I feel is not a good fit for longevity. The more ornate tile I feel the same. However, we all differ and that is the beauty of Houzz!

Would love to see this photo with the lights off from under cabinet lights.

Ok I am attaching photos with the under cabinet lighting off. I am looking for color. All shades come in subway tile I believe (except for the piece that is multi colors

The first tile is glass tile from Spirited II Stone and Glass in a blue gray color called Rain

The second is multi shades Glazzio Bella Muro Series in color Sutton Frost

The third is a glass tile in Taupe Wave from Spirited II Stone and Glass (also comes in Subway).

The fourth is San Miguel by Fine in colors Vento, Osso and Biscuit. (Also comes in Subway). Would possibly like to use all three colors

The fifth is Olympia Tile and Stone Shadebrick. Colors are Off White, Taupe (which looks too yellow), Grey and Dark Anthracite. I believe this tile is shaded in variations

The sixth is Morage Glass Tiles Crystile Series in Fog (also comes in Subway)

The sixth is TTM Ocean Top Sail which is a crackle tile in 3X9

The seventh is a plain gray subway in Silver Mist

The glass to me, Meh, the ornate tile would become tiresome and dated........ the board with the 4 tiles they just don't go due to the tone and I can't put my finger on it, but none of them are as cohesive as the third runner up or the ones you didn't post...

This may very well be the one above that is lighter without the under cabinet light. It's best suited IMO. Not too dark, not too light and you won't grow tired of it. Would love to have seen the lighter gray... However, good luck!

Do you not like the idea of using all three colors in the San Miguel palate. They pull out the countertop tiles exactly.

In the first first pic with the weird shape it's a NO. Not timeless.
In a the pic with 4 subway tile on board, the first one and third one from buttom its yes.
I saw a big glass tile grey also a yes.

I have the same Quartz I believe, Cambria Berwin? It's fabulous and you dont want to take away from it with a backsplash that competes. I went with a lovely matte finish textured white subway tile (approx 3" x 12") and love it. It's timeless!

Is the cabinetry a pink-beige? The photo may be misleading.

No. It is an off white.

For best advice we need to see the floor and wall color.

I love your counters! We are also debating on Shadebrick. What did you go with?
