Dome power grommet

Does this sit on top of the counter and have teh plug going out the bottom? This is for a granite island with a 3" hole. Thanks, Maureen

Yes, this unit is meant to sit above the surface. You would drill a 3" hole and drop it in from the top. It has a threaded cylinder that drops down below the surface and you tighten a locking ring from underneath to hold it in place. It's a very simple installation once the hole is cut. It comes with a 6' power cord that goes out of the bottom of the unit and would plug in to a nearby power source. The dome sits 1-9/16" above the surface. It has a really cool soft touch texture too!

Actually, if your hole is already cut, then you're in business! The rest is very easy, no tools required.
