I'm mostly about foliage. There are just a few exceptions. Vanuatuensis (like diptera) has very ho-hum foliage, but I love the yellow flowers so I keep it in my collection.

100% foliage for me, flowers are just a bonus for me as well.

I'm going to be different and say the flowers, most of which I haven't seen in person yet. The ones I have seen, I really adore. If they're fragrant , even better! I have favorites for foliage, though. That's as varied as the flowers themselves.

Nikki has developed two further peduncles this summer, so hoping for buds before I have to bring my plants inside for the colder months ahead.

But yes, there are some I like for the foliage, too: finlaysonii "Ripple Leaf", variegated macrophylla, fungii, shepherdii, pubicalyx "Pink SIlver", "RHP", and "Red Buttons", cv. Mathilde, motoskei, pottsi "Chiang Mai", and the lacunosas.

I love all of these for the flowers, too. I'm seeing lots of new growth on mine (giving them some more light than I have been in the past few years and they're loving it). There are some Hoyas I would like to acquire because I fell for the flowers (lockii, onychoides, imperialis, and a few others).

Nothing beats the scent of a lacunosa or a pubicalyx in bloom. Anxiously awaiting for the four peduncles on Nikki to start showing signs of buds (she developed two new ones this summer).
