I live about an hour away and was hoping I could make it to a fall swap if there will be one. Plus I have lots of iris and daylillies to give away.

I am done with digging/dividing iris for the year! (Doesn't mean I won't plant some, though!) Definitely looking forward to a fall swap this year!

That's great! Some of them I have the names for. I'm mostly hoping for plants other than iris and daylilies.

I am in. i want to know if anyone would be interested in some garlic chives. They are very hardy here and have great flavor. Asian families like to put them in dumpling. I've seen chives used in humans. Some put them in omelet too.

If I'm in town on the right date, I'll be there! Will be out Trippin' again before too long, but I check every few days to see what's going on around here even when I'm out in the hills, so will watch for a date!

Great, Liz. I might bring some food with garlic chives if time permits so that people can try. I will answer for popmama if she doesn't mind, I think it's called red birds in a tree. BTW, I started seeing hummingbirds again in my area around my hyssops. I am super excited.

Yep, it's Redbirds in a Tree. I swore I got it at a swap years ago a tiny thing in a cup and look at it now. I've seen them at Paulino recently.

Hi guys & gals, sorry I've been a bit MIA, but I'm excited for the fall swap, too! I can host (in Arvada) if there's nobody else, but I'd also love to see other people's gardens. When does the fall swap usually happen? September?

I've got some mature Shasta daisies to bring, as well as red hot pokers, and as many rudbeckia as you'd like. I also have some chocolate mint that is pretty aggressive but still fun. I'm on the lookout for late spring bloomers. Or early fall bloomers.

Once I leave Denver I won't have access to my Word documents, so, real quick, here's the answer to your "when" question!

Past fall swaps have been held from Sept 06 to Oct 03, with one VERY short-notice, impromptu one on Oct 14 in 2012! And since I'm gonna be too busy "for a while" to be posting here, I'll add this now. I wouldn't be able to come until the weekend of Sept 23 or after. Not saying you need to plan it so I can come, but I know other people will start posting when they can/can't come and I'm not gonna have time to do that later. As I have time I'll try to check in enough to see what's going on!

I'll probably miss this one, will be away 21 Sep through 3 Oct. I'll see you all at the spring swap, though. If I get to divide peonies this fall I'll bring some potted to the next swap.

I have tables and chairs for about 25 people.

We can lay down tarps and do it in my house or outside in the back on the deck.

My understanding is we do potluck and I need to have:

Seating/space - check

Tickets - check

Name tags - check

Cocrazywoman, why don't you start a new thread announcing the date and inviting people to message you for your address? September 23rd is RIGHT around the corner. If it's too short of notice, you could do October 7th instead, although that doesn't give plants much time to get established.
