The type of container you have it on, kills a lot of plants. It retains too much moisture. If I were you I would transfer it to a bigger plastic pot or plant it in the ground and water well for first week, then once a week watering will do. They don't need much care, don't worry about it too much or you will end up killing it.

Luciano, Just so you know, I did drill holes in the bottom of that container to allow for drainage. The solid after watering will be wet but not soggy.

Yes I know, but still those types of containers seem to kill every plant I have tried them with.

also orange plastic planters are plant killers. Black nursery pots work Great!

That container will be to small by seasons end as the roots will start to choke plant .

Best to put in a larger container and every few years root prune plant.

The leaves that are bad will eventually fall off but the newly emerging leaves will be just fine in full sun.

@dieseler Those 3 gal you are referring to are the same style as the small one I have pictured correct?

I would suggest 3 to 5 gallon for now, makes sure it's black other colors don't work as good. the holes at the bottom can be round or any shape as long as your finger fits in them that's good size holes.

The one your holding in you hand (in picture) appears smaller.

Any plant requires a time to acclimatize to full sunlight. Do it gradually over the course of a week or so. At first, place plant outside in full shade. Gradually move it to partial shade and then graduate to full sun. This will prevent sunburn.

Problem was ,Sudden burning sun.

I would bring it to shade once you move to a bigger pot. After two or threes days, I would bring it back out to sun, I see new healthy leaves growing that means it can take the heat. Water every couple of days for a week, then once a week will do.

Thanks to everyone for the help. Yes that pot was indeed much smaller than the one needed. I just wanted to make sure that the one I needed was in that style.

I moved it to a new pot just like suggested. 3.6 gallons I believe. It's in shade and my fingers are crossed. I'll post and update in a few weeks on it's progress. Thanks again.
