Can you provide specs on shelf behind range? How deep and high is it, and does it make the range stick out more next to cabinets?

Hello, We bumped the range and adjacent cabinets forward 3 inches and the shelf is about 4 inches deep. The box is 9 inches high. We have done similar looks recessing a shelf above a range and creating a niche but the range is on a exterior wall in this home so padding it out worked better.
