Are you looking to pair a coral with one of the seascape/abstract-that-evokes-a-seascape?

The first coral (pic 2) has very cool colors, and pairs well with pic 1 and pic 6. The 2nd coral has a cream background, and works better with pics 3, 4, and 5. It works well with pic 6 as well. I don't think the last coral/shell pic works well with any of the others.

Do you mean the paintings would be on different walls on either side of the corner?

Yeah above an L shaped sectional... How do you decorate this area to balance both sides out?

@cawaps - I want to put some sort of decor on both walls but I don't want it to look weird?

I thing that the seascapes and abstracts-that-evoke-a-seascape are all so similar in composition that it actually works against hanging them near each other. The close-but-not-quite problem. If you want to do a beach theme, the coral with a seascape will do that.

If it were me, I would probably focus on finding one piece of artwork I really liked to start with. Then take your time finding another piece you like that you like that harmonizes with the first and the rest of the room.

The artwork in my living room is all over the map in terms of theme, medium, and color. The only thing they really have in common is that I like them all.
