transitional wall????

this is my floor design, but not my colors. i have a transitional wall.....
the dark wood floor shown here, is really a orange honey oak floor, with same colored baseboard....
the yellow wall with tiled floor will be my new kitchen. I want a wood trim, but what if the stain is lighter by a shade or two? how would it look? (i do not want to paint it white)
