Angela, do you mean 'Bug-Geta', an Ortho product? I couldn't find a product called Slug-Geta. I've actually never heard of using sulfur to control slugs, if you are using Bug-Geta.

I'll make a couple of suggestions: If whatever you are using now isn't working, change to something different. "Sluggo" is an organic slug bait with iron phosphate as the active ingredient.....I urge you to try it if you haven't.

As always, read and follow all of the label instructions carefully.

I keep slugs away from my containerized plants by wrapping three or four rows of copper wire around the pots. Copper tape or strips of copper flashing work well, too. Slugs will not cross a barrier of copper.

I've also used copper window screen to cover the holes in a container before adding my potting mix. I've had slugs enter a pot though the drainage holes and lay eggs! I promise you that a slug nursery is pretty gross.

Sorry I did mean Bug Geta. I have already ordered on Amazon Sluggo. It will be here Sunday! Very interesting about wrapping your pots. I am going to try that tomorrow. Thanks so much!

Okay, good. I'll bet that you have better control with the Sluggo. Just read all of the directions before using so that you obtain the best efficacy from the product and know how to store it and apply it.
