Stairs are the only easy way to get furniture up to the loft.

Try getting furniture up that ladder or spiral staircase!

we have a spiral stairs to the loft... the Burly contractor and his workmen put side by side ladders up along the loft edge before the rail went in, and moved up a very large heavy couch, chair, ottoman, and armoire. (all agreed, the couch was never coming down again).

if you furnish your loft with ikea furniture, just carry up the pieces unassembled.

YES, a stairs is always the best option. but a set of stairs eats up a lot of room compared to a spiral stairs.
