Lychnis coronaria (Silene coronaria ?) Bloom stem plantlets?

Have a really nice variety of this which is alba with a nice baby-pink center. It is best of many seedlings I've grown and while I can take divisions, I have noticed that what looks to be small plantlets (would call them keikis if an orchid) on the lower nodes of the spent bloom stalks.

Is it likely these can be induced to root? Has anyone done such with this or similar species?

I am trying to root both on stalk (air layer method) and in soil or in water with hormone in all cases.
