what cultivars are the two plants? To a certain extent I think it does make a difference.

One is celadine, the other has no identity, but blooms yellow with white edges, rounded petals, and has the double veined edged leaves of a celadine, but the flower is more spiraling even when open. Very sweet smell.

IMO you should be able to place the Celadine in either microclimate. The other is an unknown so should maybe be placed there in a container for a transition period to see how it does.

I have some Celadines in full sun from nearly sun up to sun down and provided enough water they are just fine.

Thanks, the_first_kms! So not to worry too much about too intense a sun? I'll start transitioning it to a sunnier spot soon! I'm going to have to figure out how to protect it in winter without carting it in and out!
