epw0946, I've asked the same question because mine is a runt compared to these. Sunshine seems to be the key to this one getting so lush. I made sure mine got more sun this year, and it does seem a little happier. Not lush yet, but I'm hopeful.

Yes, I can say that mine gets sun until nearly 2 p.m. in moisture retentive soil.

sandyslopes you should have no trouble getting it to perform for you since all your others grow so beautifully.

Praying Hands is a hosta for sun, without doubt. We had 35°C this summer and it gets full sun from noon to evening in my garden and not a single leaf was burned.

I am going to move mine to a more sunny spot!! Thanks to all for the comments!
