Hello, These are as solid as it gets and being solid Aluminum they are Hurricane rated and warranted for a lifetime. Once you see the samples you will know. They look like either a real paint or stain finish extruded. Let me know if you want a rough cost or me to come see you and and quote some out. Thank you. Tony
