So you would say that contrasting pieces can be different styles?

It looks like the blue-grey cabinets are a different style than the white shaker ones. Is that something you do very often? I have customers all the time looking to add a contrasting island to their recycled kitchen and wondering how far they can go with the contrast?

    We frequently combine different colors or styles of kitchen cabinets. Sometimes we will combine a different base cabinet with a different wall cabinet or like in this photo the wall cabinets are different than the island and the desk area. We add islands to kitchens all the time and the usually are a contrasting style or color (or both) to the existing cabinets!
