My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

AVs make up only a miniscule portion of my plant menagerie. My tastes are far too eclectic to limit myself to one group of plants. (Also, AVs tend to be far more fussy for me than my orchids, carnivorous plants, and cacti/succulents.)

A kind gentleman I met at an orchid show gifted me with this and several other minis to use in one of my terraria. (Generally, terrs are the only way they do well for me long term.) However, that was back in April and I haven't gotten around to planting them there yet. Since this one decided to bloom ....

    We'll see, Jeff. I'm not known for pampering my plants. :-D

    Lightning does play a significant role in perceived color, as you noted, Dviolet. Natural lighting gives a truer presentation of the color. LED and most fluorescent lighting tends to be more heavily weighted in the blue end of the spectrum. Hence, flowers seen under such lighting will appear bluer or more purple than under natural light.
