The pictures of the white washed Elm and the white washed Oak look very similar except there is a price difference. Are they that different in person?

No, as you can see, they are incredibly similar just different woods and the legs are slightly different. One is .5" higher than the other and I believe the more expensive ottoman is 100% linen vs. a linen blend. Hope this helps!
