It's true, it needs to go down asap. Read the label on the product to find out how much to apply, it sounds like you got a fertilizer/pre-em combo.

Unfortunately no rain in forecast anytime soon. How much water do I need?

Ok thanks I may have to wait for rain. With no sprinkler system and 15 k sqft of irregular shaped yard its difficult to run around with sprinklers. Hopefully I don't have to wait too long

I bet you got the lesco stuff from home depot(yellow bag)? You can get the same stuff without the fertlizer for alot cheaper.I think its $20 for a 50 lb bag, its 0-0-7

Where did you buy it for $20?

Home depot.They sell both

Lesco 0-0-7

Does this apply to all regions? I am in zone 8 (bermuda lawn) and thought Sept 10-15th time frame should be good enough to apply a pre-emergent. Can anybody please confirm? I plan on using https://www.lowes.com/pd/Sunniland-50-lb-Fertilizer-with-Crabgrass-Preventer-0-0-7/1000008818 as a pre-emergent. 0-0-7 with Dimension. It is $19.97..no big difference from $20 but this has Dimension.

Thanks for the link Ralph.Would try it but my local lowes doesnt carry it

Randy, the nearest lowes didn't carry it either, I had to go to a lowes 20 miles away and they had it.
