I think you will like it better with the brushed nickel pulls.

I'd switch black for satin nickel as your faucet. The size is fine. The black makes the kitchen look jumpy : ).......and you will be happier with a switch is my bet. That's worth plenty!!!

Yep - switch out the hardware to stainless/brushed nickel.

Nice job. I really like the size of the pulls, I just think the black don't look as nice as stainless/brushed nickel would.

If it's affecting your sanity as it sounds it is, then follow your instincts and replace them with satin or brushed nickel.

Looks great. Good job. I like the black, but change it if you like. Only other thing I might add is under-cabinet lighting.

Spray paint? No, they will look good BUT this a guy's condo and it his guy is like mine - you're wasting your time. LOL

I wouldn't - they won't look as good or hold up as nearly as well over time. I've spray painted tons of lamps and stuff and they hold up well but they don't get nearly the contact that pulls will. But if the replacements are super expensive and you want to put off the expense you could give it a try. You'd have to use really thin coats because you need to make sure you have no drips. The best paint I've found is the Rustoleum metallic finish paints. It looks like this:

Good point about the amount of wear that they'll get. Worse case scenario I replace them?

stain nickel pulls are very inexpensive on Amazon.com --

though it looks fine - i like the size.

instead of spraying these, go get a couple of the nickel ones you like and try them on (you can always return them). that way if you don't like it, you can go back to the black. (which really isn't that bad. can't understand everyones dislike for them!

You can always respray them if the paint wears. It's not a big job. Pulls are expensive.

If you bought them at a big box store they may allow you to exchange them for satin finish, if they still carry them. Worth a try

Hi, Overall this kitchen looks much nicer, good job! I completely agree that the black is too strong. I think the scale is a bit large for the size of the kitchen, but if you switch to brushed nickel, it will look better and the scale won't be very noticeable. I hope that helps!

If your not happy with the look the brushed nickel finish will at least melt away rather then being so noticeable.maybe even consider a pull in the same size but a different style which could help with not looking as large. Feel free to contact us with any question you may have.

Personally I think they look fine as is especially if you don't plan on living there long term.

Consider just giving yourself a little time to get used to the pulls. Put a red teakettle on the stove to draw your eye. Overall, the kitchen looks great. Nice dining table and chairs too.

Switch! If this is the worst mistake you ever make its a fantastic life ! No spray paint! Satin nickel and move on. Or brushed nickel.:)

They seem fine, especially with wood floor, which warms the look... leave them! As to the backsplash natural movement [they call it I guess], the black 'lines' are so contrasting to the white, and less-so contrast to the backsplash ==

Light neutral, medium neutral, and the black linear shapes....

Wow tatts. I have no doubt OP knows this is not a life or death matter. But it's Houzz. Where people ask design questions. So maybe we could not act like they are stupid when they do what the site is intended for...

I like the black hardware. Live with it for awhile and see if you grow to like the hardware. If not, the above posters have given you many great ideas.

I actually like the black but they seem a tad to big. But if u changed them to a smaller one then the holes won’t match up so now u have to touch up those.

The kitchen looks great! I agree that brushed nickel would look better. I got some very nice ones on houzz that were much cheaper than Home Depot.

You can find many pulls with the same screw spacing. So I don't think your only choice is the same pull with a different finish. That said, I like it as is. Everyone obsesses over their choices at first, but down the road it becomes the new normal. Overall its very nice.
