Concealing wires on adjustable shelving

Hi all,

I have a built-in with adjustable shelves. I'd like to put a couple of games consoles on a number of the shelves, which means running the wires (power, HDMI, etc) somehow - which I'd like to conceal.

I realise that normally the low voltage stuff could be run behind the wall, but there are power cables, too, and it doesn't make sense (I think) to install more sockets. Any thoughts?

Can you remove the shelves, add angled boards at the back corner(s) and cut off the back corners of the shelves at the same angle before replacing them? Holes at the top of the shelf might be all that is needed to pull the wires through.

Yeah, that's definitely possible - but it might get a bit finicky getting cable in and out of the board, I think?
