Hello!! I have two or three plants of the tomatillo purple de milpa... the packet says it will be purple round tomatoes but just today, I've noticed that some of the tomatoes have burst open the husk and they are still green, not purple... ? There was one post that I was able to find that said the fruit is green and if left on the plant, it will turn purple. but the husk has burst open... will the tomato still ripe to purple?
