Hi Rose Experts! I've just purchased 3 pots of Tranquility Rose (dave austin) and wish they were icebergs (what do i know? This is my first time growing)

one of the rose bushes has 1 long stem at about 4' or taller with buds ready to open. So that it can fill out, should I cut it down to blend in with the rest of the plant? Its been raining in Chicago today so the leaves are up. Hopefully the photo makes sense.. by the way. Thanks for your help!
