Is that 24d, dicamba?

I assume it is dicamba. Ever since the release of the dicamba-ready crops, there has been a lot of mis-use of older formulations of dicamba, which are not meant to be used with the dicamba-ready crops. If a person is growing dicamba-ready crops, they are supposed to use the newer formulation of dicamba which theoretically is formulated to drift less. From what I've read about this, when the dicamba-ready seeds were released, the new dicamba was not ready yet...(seems like a poor decision to release the seeds in that case) so people used the old formula (even though they were advised not to)....which drifts more readily....and wiped out crops on other properties that were not dicamba-ready crops. It has been an huge issue. It might be a continuing issue because as long as there are two forms of dicamba out there, and as long as the new forumula is more expensive than the old formula, you can bet that some people will use the cheaper formula with the dicamba-ready crops even though it is not labeled for that use. There even was a disagreement between two farmers over this issue, and it ended in murder.

Why do we even need dicamba-ready crops? Because the heavy use of glyphosate with Round-up Ready crops has led to weeds that are resistant to glyphosates. So, what happens next? We end up with dicamba-resistant weeds. Then what? I guess they come out with another stronger herbicide. I just don't see how this ends well. Eventually we'll have weeds that nothing will kill. Actually, we already have a few of those, but we'll have a lot more.
