I need advice on a backsplash for my BLue Ice granite countertops. I want something simple and light, after having read a lot and looked at pictures, I know simple will work best. I will have white shaker cabinets (third photo) and a light wood floor (natural wood we are refinishing the existing floor.) I like the classic 3x6 subway tile, timeless, but I was interested in something with more of a natural feel than ceramic, so have been looking at tumbled marble. The first is a Merram Blanc 3x6 tumbled marble tile with soft gray tones, and the second is a 2x4 mosiac tumbled marble with some gray and warm tones. I think the Merram Blanc works best (would probably do this with a light gray grout, not white grout, to set off the stone)

because it's the most simple, but I am not sure. Thinking about going and looking at classic white subway tile as well. I do not want a backsplash that is too busy or too clashy. Appliances are stainless steel.
