KC, give the plant to your friend. Just kidding. My first thought is to let nature do its thing and leave it alone. But curious to find out what experts on hear say. My seedlings are sprouting. Yeah! I just may discover a novel way for me at least to heat up my seeds/seedlings/cuttings naturally for fast root growth. I will share with you after my experiment if I have not cooked my seedlings and cuttings yet :). I bought a heating pad but with no thermometer for regulating heat I am worried about overheating seeds/cuttings and/or my house. Our weather is too cool at night to keep that heat going so going back and forth outside/inside as I do not have an inside heat/grow/light setup yet. Plus, really want to give them tropical humid simulation but no green house yet. So been wrapping my seedling tray (aluminum tray with growing media) with opaque grocery bags. I know I am going cheap but wanted to reuse what I have around the house first before buying sprouting tray etc. My damped paper towels seems to be working well sprouting at least. So far I could not see my seedlings in the seed tray sprouting yet. I am experiment with different grow media. So maybe combination of grow media, heat, and moisture that is preventing them from seeding. I will give them a few more days before putting them into damped paper towel method. I really like the damped paper towel method best as 9-10 seeds already sprouted and I planted some in grow media and can see one of them show leaf! Yeah! Will post photo soon.

I also like to clean up the fallen flowers and keep the branch tips clean. I rarely attempt to remove spent inflos as they generally fall off on their own. If they are not falling off I then over a period of time flex the spent inflo until it starts to separate.
