go to your fabricator and see what they have as remnants. you'll still have to pay for fabrication but not need to buy a whole slab. since you are open to various choices, you are certain to find something.

turquoise and pink will still change the color reflecting up on your face. you might adjust your type of lighting to compensate.

I'm a little worried about the sink height, too. I've been practicing, if that makes sense. Perhaps a semi-recessed sink is the way to go. (I have flexibility right now since nothing has been ordered.)

Check out recycled glass counters. Like a counter made of seaglass. Very fun.

you might be able to trim the vanity legs (if it has legs.)

we do have a standard height vanity with a vessel top. i'm short, its a little high. but if i wasnt short it would be fine, folks are going to taller counter tops if they are tall.

if you go with a stand alone type vanity installation, it won't be 'tiled in' and another buyer could change it if it was too tall for them. or if you didnt like it.

a vessel sink counter only has a cut out for the plumbing, you could have the same countertop recut for a set in sink.

make sure your faucet is tall enough if you are going for a counter mount.
