First of all it is NOT a pesticide/insecticide; it is repellent; and IMO purely snake oil.

Susanne, i have also been looking but havent decided yet. It seems monterey is commonly talked about with citrus. Have you or anybody used it?

Johnmerr not really only repellent but if I read right it says it makes the leaf tasting bad for the mites. Anyways, just bought a small bottle and will try it out this winter. If it works, great, if not, at least have tried :)

If it doesn't kill the critters, it is only repellent; and does not disrupt the life cycle so as to prevent even larger populations the next life cycle. It also does not protect against critters that lay their eggs on the leaf; especially systemic; a topical repellent might help to drive away egg layers, but will only encourage them to lay the eggs somewhere else and thus create more of them.

Yup, disrupt life cycle through starvation. This is to be used during the winter months in the house.
