New painted kitchen cabinets smell, help!

We just had our kitchen redone, custom wood cabinets that were painted. They smell fine (or like normal paint) everywhere except the corners of the front panels of the doors (they are flat panel doors and where the flat panel meets the frames of the doors, in the corners, is where the smell is). I would walk in the kitchen and smell this odor (like bo or musty smell), I sniffed all over and finally found it coming from that one area-nowhere else. Does anyone have any idea what it is or how to get rid of it? It's bizarre, I thought it would go away but it has been over six months. Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you!

It's probably embedded in the end grain. Can the inside of the cabinets be caulked?

Not sure, here are a couple pictures. The molding along the frame is where the smell is the worst.

Are you sure it's on the doors and not the inside of the cabinets? The point is that anywhere the surface is painted should be sealed up. If there is an odor embedded on the ends of where they made the cuts, the odor could be sneaking out there where there are gaps. It would be hard to caulk though if it's on the face of the door without having to repaint the doors.

It's mostly right in the corners, so that does make sense, maybe something is getting out or maybe they used some caulk that smells?
