We are completely remodelling our chalet in the Swiss alps. It is a small chalet so I went for a completely white kitchen with some oak wood accents. I will include a computer generated image of what it will look like. The cabinets are glossy white and there is an open oak shelf as well as ask sides at both ends on the island. Countertop is Dekton in Halo. We chose a medium grey tile just for the kitchen area but the rest of the open dining/living room is oak floor. Lots of windows and light. The walls in the dining area are white and then 2 oak walls in the living area. Anyway, I need advice on what kid of backlash to put. I love the look of tile but they don't seem practical to keep clean. I'm considering using the same dekton as countertops but am afraid it will all be too white. The ovens are stainless steel but all other appliances are integrated with the white fronts. Any advice?
