C. Every so often my friend who loves to keep her porch door open - gets moth laying eggs in her collection. Caterpillars especially love Episcia leaves.

D. My cat thinks that Kohleria and Sinningia leaves are tasty. He leaves AVs alone. I just keep them on the top shelf. Darn pest.

Right now just watch. Can be just a cracked leaf.

Lift your Rose Bouquet a bit so the soil is on the level with the rim. Just fork it up - and add a teaspoon of soil or perlite on the bottom and plop it back. Remove 2 baby leaves one of which has a bite - and just look around what else is going on. Caterpillar poop, mice poop... anything out of the ordinary.

No pesticides so far.

The shape of the missing leaf definitely reminds me of caterpillar damage. I can't say that I would have any idea how to identify caterpillar poop amidst the rest of the dirt and debris though.

I once found a little green caterpillar on one of my AV leaves. It munched up the leaf. Little green caterpillars are the exact same color as pale AVs! I plucked it off and never saw another one, I've no idea how it got there. You hole doesn't look like my caterpillar eaten leaf, but, there are many types of caterpillars...

All kind of moths can fly in - and leave eggs. You can have them invade your home, you can bring already infested plant from the store., But it is not going to perpetuate - because they are outside insects and this is not is the right habitat for them.
