Good morning. Hope everyone is enjoying their Labor Day. I'm always happy to have a day at home. So, those of you who are my fb friends, you'll see that I've already been to the garden this morning.

I have a couple of things going on...

What size are tomatillos supposed to be when they are "finished"? Mine are really small. I took a bite and they have a sweet AND tart taste. I've honestly never cooked with them. I know nothing about them. And need help.

Also, a strange insect has invaded my okra plants. They sort of remind me of squash bugs only smaller and darker. They were procreating in large numbers and their eggs (I assume they are their eggs) look like squash bug eggs. Sort of. I'll try to get a pic later. I killed most of them, but a few fell.
