Sorry to hear Peter, I sure can't wait till winter is finished. We haven't had si much rain in years. And the cold night made my baby Adenium dormant.

I think you can recover alot of your plants, cut any visible root rot and don't rush planting them until they callused and dry, try superglue on the cuts. They are very robust plants. All the best.

Maybe a good time to treat and let them dry in a warm/dry/shady spot prior to going into spring/summer, Peter. Not that I can speak from experience, but worth the effort.

Yea i used to just throw them away before i joined this forum now i try to save them i have heaps with all the tops loped off is it liquid lime u put on them ?

Anything above ground, I use Waterproof wood glue, Super glue, cut on 45 degree angle and let heal on it's own.

Below soil line, I have only used Sulphur powder either dry or made into a paste. Turmeric is used widely in India and Thailand as a anti fungicide. The air drying is a big factor.

Hi Peter, sorry to hear about your plants we have had no rain in the north and it is so dry, not much winter either I have put down seeds all through winter and had no , problems I still germinate mine under house all goes well. Peter have you heard about the Steri-Prune Paint that mostly us northern use when have to cut back of desert roses I find it is better than turmeric or cimminon as it tend to make the end go hard. You will find it and the name of the paint is Balchan it is in a red and white tin. I would look into this as it does work. good luck mate

Peter I wish you the best of luck. From personal experience I saved Suzanne a when cutting the rot out and leaving her under a tree to heal over several years ago and survived until this past winter when I didn't catch the rot and she was a specimen probably 7 or 8 years old. More recent Beauty Witch in a recent order from Riona I cut 90% of the caudex off with one feeder root attached and within three days at 110+ degrees it healed over and now leafing out. I didn't treat the caudex now I don't remember if I treated Suzanne, if I did it would have been with Sulfur.
