So why the obsession for all white? It's just too trendy, to sterile, I think hospital, and so boring. How about black & white just to change things up a little?

Did you have a piece of the white tile with you when you looked at the swanbridge? Look at samples together out of doors for more compatible color accuracy. For the grout, only a very pale gray, as even a white grout may look yellow with the tile.

We just installed Cambria Swanbridge in our kitchen - on the island and as our counter to ceiling height backsplash (no upper cabinets). We did Cambria Carrick on the main body counters. I will post pictures for you tonight. It is a stunning colour, hard to photograph though. We are very happy with it, and it is timeless, and not at all too sterile. I love the idea of using Swanbridge in your kitchen with the white subway tile with grey grout.

DB. This is almost exactly what were thinking of doing in our kitchen. (Dark island, with Swanbridge top, white cabinets with darker counter tops on perimeter. We have been trying to figure out the backsplash. I liked the idea of using the swanbridge, but wasn't sure since the countertops closest to the range are the darker one. Brentelick & Kristy Braun - what did you go with? I am looking at both Swanbridge and Weybourne and am leaning toward Weybourne - I have bright white flat panel cabinets, and medium hard wood floors. Considering Weybroune but also Silestone Eternal Statuario - but concerned about matching up the veining in my U-Shape kitchen so I discoved the Cambria options in hopes the seams will blend better. Also Cambria has jumbo slabs! Would love some feedback. Thanks!
