Using Mrs. Wages Dilled Green Bean Mix for cucumbers

I've got pickling cucumbers and Mrs. Wages Dilled Green Bean mix in the house. Is it safe to use cucumbers instead of beans with the mix? Maybe cut the cukes into thin spears kinda like beans? Do you think it will make an acceptable dill pickle? The recipe has a 50:50 vinegar:water ratio.

I don't have all the ingredients on hand to do other dill pickle recipes right now, and I'd like to get these done tonight if possible.

Have never used it so don't know all the ingredients but if it is at least a 50/50 mix then it would be safe. Taste is unknown. But I sure wouldn't cut the cukes in thin spears unless you don't plant to process them. They will just turn to mush. Cukes have much more water in them than beans do. I'd probably cut them into thick slices or halves instead.
